Your Most Asked Questions!  

Once purchased, MagicCon: Atlanta badges and Ticketed Play Events are non-refundable and non-transferable to another event and cannot be reproduced, resold or upgraded. Please make your badge and ticketed play event selections carefully.  

Merchandise included with your badge purchase is available for onsite pick up only. If you do not pick up your merchandise at the event, you forfeit ownership of the merchandise. We are unable to ship badge package merchandise post-event and you are not entitled to a refund. 

We strongly suggest you read the “How to Buy” guide for step-by-step instructions on how to purchase Ticketed Play Events. If you are still having trouble, please email us at [email protected] and we will be happy to help!  

About the Show

MagicCon is a three-day long convention that celebrates all things Magic: The Gathering! MagicCon features play events, merch, and the most exciting experiences Magic has to offer.

If you're hurt at MagicCon: Atlanta, reach out to the MagicCon staff, crew, or nearby Security and we'll get you the help you need. 

If a person engages in harassing behavior, MagicCon: Atlanta Staff will take prompt action in any form they deem appropriate, including expulsion from MagicCon: Atlanta with no refund. Our policy applies to everyone at the convention. Exhibitors, fans (attendees), speakers, guests, professionals, press, staff, volunteers, and security are all subject to our Code of Conduct Policy.

MagicCon: Atlanta is committed to making sure that all of our fans have an amazing experience. ReedPop events provide Accessibility assistance to individuals who may have mobility, physical, vision, hearing, cognitive, psychological, invisible or other types of disabilities. Depending on what you need, our Accessibility Services Program may be for you.

Badges and Ticketed Merch

Badges for MagicCon: Atlanta will go on sale June 16, 2026. 

You may enter the “waiting room” starting at 9:00 AM PT. Some MagicCon badge types sell out very quickly and we encourage you to enter the waiting room at least 10 – 15 minutes prior to 9:00 AM. When the sale begins, fans will be selected at random from the waiting room for a badge purchase session. Once you are in the waiting room, do not navigate away from this page or you may be placed at the back of the queue. When selected for a purchase session, you have 10 minutes to begin your transaction. 

Please Note: Adding a badge to your cart does not guarantee a purchase. Some badge types sell out very quickly and all available inventory maybe sold by the time you begin the checkout process, even if the item was in your cart.

We encourage you to read all of the information on our How to Buy page to ensure you are prepared.   

All attendees age 10 and up must purchase a badge to attend MagicCon: Atlanta.

  • Attendees age 16+ must purchase an Adult badge
  • Attendees 10 – 15 can purchase a Youth badge*
  • Children under 10 may visit Registration/Will Call for a complimentary child credential*

*Please note, all minors under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent and/or guardian at all times

All badges purchased on or before 12:00 PM EDT on September 25, 2026 will be shipped in advance. Any badges purchased after 12:00 PM EDT on September 25, 2026 will be available for onsite pickup at Registration/Will Call.

We are unable to ship in advance to an international address. International attendees ma pick up their badge when they arrive onsite and will automatically be refunded any shipping costs after September25, 2026.

Badge and pre-order merchandise will ship 3 – 4 weeks in advance of MagicCon: Atlanta.

If you do not pick up your merchandise prior to the show closing, you forfeit ownership of the merchandise. We are unable to mail badge package merchandise to you post-event and you are not entitled to a refund. 

Standard change of address procedures with the post office should resolve this for you without having to worry, but for extra insurance feel free to email us at [email protected] before the mailing deadline and we should be able to update the address on file for you.

Each badge also has access to free Magic Meet and Greets (check schedule for limited events), panel viewing across all stages, freeplay, The Command Zone, Arcades’s Arcade, and Family Magic all on a first come, first serve basis. Badge holders will also have access to shop in the Magic Marketplace, Official Show Store, Art of Magic, and opportunities to purchase Ticketed Play Events* or On Demand Events.  

*If you are interested in Ticketed Play Events, we encourage you to register online early, as many sell out before the event.  

Ticketed Play

Ticketed Play events will be on sale soon. Please read the How to Buy page for step-by-step instructions. 

The Command Zone is accessible to all MagicCon: Atlanta badged attendees. Seating is on a first come, first serve basis.  

Ticketed Play Events require pre-registration at least one hour prior to the event. Don’t forget to pre-register as all events have limited inventory. Read our How to Buy Page for step-by-step directions on registering for events. 

On Demand Events are purchased onsite at Ticketed Play HQ. Pre-registration is not required.

Check back regularly on the Ticketed Play dashboard to see if there are any openings. If you have any questions onsite, visit the Ticketed Play HQ. If there are still no openings, there may be similar On Demand Events you can join at any time! 

Yes! Now you can either transfer the badge to your friends or children who have a valid email by following the transfer outlined here. 

OR 

You can purchase ticketed play events on their behalf by using the drop down to change the badge name.  

Once you have registered for an event, you will see the companion code at the end of the Ticketed Play event name.

  1.  In the Companion App under the Play Tab, you can enter this event code. 
  2. The title of the event will have the location color-coded play area.  Head to the corresponding color tables!
  3. When the event begins, your seat assignment will be displayed on your Companion App. Take your seat and the event staff will take it from there. 

If you still have questions on where to go, head to the Ticketed Play HQ for assistance.

However, you can still pick up any event product at Ticketed Play HQ.  

Each event is different! Head to Ticketed Play HQ and speak to the staff at the stage running your event for assistance. 

In general, we don’t recommend registering for multiple events. Unless the event is a league event, you will need to drop from one event early to go to another. If you REALLY want to, you can remove it from your schedule after the event is purchased. As long as you have purchased the event, you will not be refunded and still have the seat at the event. This will free up your schedule to purchase an overlapping event. 

Keep in mind, if you drop from an event or miss an overlapping event, you will not be granted a refund. 

Yes! Go to Ticketed Play HQ Information to get your event product. All product must be collected during the show.

No! Only one ticket has to be bought for the whole team and only one person enters the code in the companion app regardless of whether it is a 2HG or a Team Trio.

Georgia World Congress Center offers convenient on-campus parking for visitors, attendees and staff of onsite events. For location and directions, click here.  

Parking can also be pre-purchased directly from the Convention Center.

We’re sorry, but please leave your furry companions at home. MagicCon: Atlanta will allow service animals only. 

MagicCon: Atlanta does not provide childcare services. All children under the age of 16 must be always accompanied by a paid adult guardian, including during play events. Minors should always be within 10 to 15 feet of their guardian.  

If you find yourself in a situation in which you are lost or separated, please search for the nearest MagicCon Staff member, Info Booth or Security Officer, and they can help you. 

All bags are welcome at MagicCon, but they may be subject to security searches when entering. Please make sure to keep a close eye on your belongings. MagicCon is not responsible for stolen bags. 

A Quiet Room is available to all MagicCon: Atlanta badge holders who need to take a sensory break during show hours. Please be courteous and respectful of your fellow fans sharing this space.

The safety and security of our fans, exhibitors, and staff, is our priority. We work closely with the venue, corporate security, state, local, and federal law enforcement authorities to identify risks, assess them, and develop security plans for our events. 

  • Everyone attending MagicCon should be aware that the following are in place:
    • Security may approach you to assist outside, at entry, or inside MagicCon 
    • Everyone must wear their MagicCon badge at all times. This includes exhibitors, vendors, fans (attendees), speakers, guests, artists, professionals, press, staff, and crew. 
    • Bag checks are in operation at our events 
    • Walkthrough or handheld scanners may be in operation at our events 
    • CCTVs in operation at our events are monitored and recorded 
    • Uniformed and covert security guards and police are in attendance at our event 
    • Canine security and detection is in operation at some of our events 
  • Everyone attending MagicCon is requested to:
    • Keep personal property with you at all times and don't leave any items unattended 
    • Report anything that looks unusual, suspicious, or just out of place to MagicCon staff, security, or crew 
    • Remain patient and courteous with MagicCon staff and security undertaking security checks. We have your best interests at heart and want to get you inside the building as quickly as possible 
    • Follow the instructions of MagicCon staff at all times 
    • On the final day you're attending MagicCon, keep your badge as a souvenir or dispose of it inside the venue or when you've returned home. Don't sell it to scalpers who may be outside on the streets. Don't throw it away in trash cans outside the venue. Scalpers are sneaky and may attempt to upsell it to an unsuspecting fan who doesn't have a badge 
    • Carry a recognized form of photo ID at all times. This includes passports, drivers license, and government issued IDs.

Policies

Important note: Make sure to read and ensure you can comply with the entire Health & Safety policy prior to making your purchase.

The buying and selling of counterfeit / knock-off / unlicensed / bootleg materials is prohibited at Magic Con: Atlanta. MagicCon takes intellectual property infringement very seriously. Violators of this policy may have the counterfeit items confiscated and/or be removed from the show. 

Hate symbols are not permitted at MagicCon: Atlanta, including as part of cosplay. Magic Con: Atlanta will not allow costumes that contain hate symbols or appropriate the symbolism of hate groups, including, but not limited to, historical/comic-related/satirical costumes that are associated with Nazis. 

At the discretion of Security onsite, the following May be allowed:

  • Lightweight plastic and metal shields 
  • Lightweight plastic/PVC props 
  • Toy guns as long as they do not look like real ones, cannot function or shoot projectiles and have an orange tip on the barrel.  The barrel of all prop firearms must be covered with brightly-colored caps. 
  • Prop bows will be allowed providing all arrows have soft tips made of foam or cardboard and the bow itself is de-strung. If it is not, our security team will be de-string the bow. 

If any of the above items are deemed unsafe by MagicCon: Atlanta Security, they will not be allowed inside the building. 

Management shall have sole discretion in any matter that it believes may affect public safety or be important to protect the integrity of the event. 

No functional props or weapons are allowed at MagicCon: Atlanta. Simulated or costume weapons may be allowed as a part of your costume, subject to prior approval by security. MagicCon: Atlanta will perform bag check at entry to the event, as well as tagging prop weapons when deemed necessary.

Tickets and/or badges (“Badges”) for the MagicCon event (“Event”) are non-refundable and cannot be reproduced or upgraded. The unauthorized resale or attempted resale of the Badge is prohibited and will constitute a forfeiture of the Badge without compensation. Each Badge must be used by the same person (the “Attendee”) for each day of the Event and such use is at all times subject to the Terms of Service for Participation in the Event, which is made available on the Event website. The Event’s operating hours, schedules, guests and speakers are subject to change or cancellation without notice. Each Badge is a revocable license to attend the Event. All panels, autographing, photo ops, special events, show features and performances are subject to availability and access is not guaranteed and/or may require an additional fee. ReedPOP is not responsible for lost or stolen Badges. The Attendee acknowledges there are hazards and risks of physical injury or illness to Attendees of the Event and that not all such hazards or risks can be fully eliminated. By accepting this Badge and attending the Event, the Attendee freely and voluntarily agrees to assume the full risk of bodily injury or property damage, regardless of severity, or death that Attendee may sustain as a result of attending the Event, whether or not caused by the negligence or gross negligence of ReedPOP.
